FHSAA announces 2015 Academic All-State Team, recognizes 24 student-athletes for outstanding academic and scholastic achievement, community service

GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Today, the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) announced its 2015 Academic All-State team, an honor that embodies the true definition of student-athlete. Athletes who receive this award are not just chosen for their accomplishments on the field, but also for their hard work in the classroom and service to the community. In total, 24 student-athletes from all across the state were selected; ranging as far north and west as Fort Walton Beach to as far south as Miami.

Now in its 21st year of existence, the scholarship program provides $30,000 in scholarships to the 12 boys and 12 girls that are selected to receive the prodigious honor.
