BABSON PARK, Fla. – Webber International University's Athletic Director, Bill Heath, has announced the hiring of Jim Simpson, as Head Coach for men's and women's cross-country and triathlon teams.  Simpson will also serve as an Assistant Coach for indoor and outdoor track and field. 
 
During his eight year tenure at North Point High School, Simpson coached multiple District and Regional Champions and numerous state qualifiers.  In 2012, his boys team finished as district runner-ups and went on to qualify for the state meet for the first time in school history.  In 2013, Simpson's girls team were District Champions and Regional Runner-ups.  They went on to finish 5^th at the 4-A state meet.  This was a first for North Port High School.
