Hello I'm Trevor Foley and I'll be blogging for DyestatFL this up coming cross country season! I will be a rising Junior this year. I go to Hernando High school! I have big goals this year such as, 14:50s for 5k, a second state championship, and to place in the top 15 of at Foot Locker Nationals in California!
So this summers training has been going better than ever. This week I am now starting to add some intensity to my training such as tempos, strides, and fartleks. I have mainly just been hitting 50 miles a week for just base training.
This past Saturday I ran a 3mile steady state run focused on 15 flat. I hit 14:57 so I am definitely happy where I am at. So now I just need to capitalize on that and continue to push this summer!
